Hi, I'm Addison Barnes

My name is Addison Barnes and I am a Junior at Herron High school. I have been on the journalism team for one year. I love the creativity and the community that I have experienced in journalism. I am also an active member of my school’s volleyball team, where I have developed strong communication skills, discipline, and a commitment to working toward shared goals. Being part of a team has taught me the importance of perseverance and supporting others both on and off the court. In addition to athletics, I am involved in Riley Dance Marathon, an organization dedicated to raising money for Riley Hospital for Children. Academically, I have a strong interest in science and math. I enjoy problem-solving and exploring how things work, and I hope to pursue a future career that incorporates these subjects. Whether through research, innovation, or another path, I am excited to continue learning and growing in ways that make a positive impact.
