The Herron High School Journalism program is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of thoughtful, ethical, and skilled journalists. Rooted in the school’s classical education model, our journalism program emphasizes critical analysis, clear writing, and responsible reporting. Through hands-on experience in news writing, editing, and graphic design and multimedia storytelling, students learn to navigate the evolving media landscape with integrity and insight.
Our student journalists are encouraged to explore diverse perspectives, uphold journalistic standards, and contribute meaningfully to the school community and beyond.
